The Pennsylvania State University is hosting the 17th annual traditional American Indian Powwow Saturday, April 22 and Sunday, April 23, 2023 at the C3 Sports Arena in State College, PA. Admission is free, and the public is invited to attend.
A Powwow Volunteer Orientation meeting will be held on Saturday, March 25th, 2023 from 10am-11:30am in room 104 of the Rackley Building on the Penn State University campus. The Powwow Committee is looking for volunteers to assist with the logistical aspects of the powwow. Volunteers are needed for Powwow Set-Up/Take-Down, work in the American Indian Kitchen, Errands/Supplies/Facilities, Dancer Registration, Dance trackers, and various other duties. This year we are asking volunteers to spend time with us in 4-hour blocks of time.
This powwow is recognized as one of the finest family friendly events available in the State College Area and has earned a national reputation as one of the finest in the country.
